We went to the Anchorage Fire Department Open House today. They had a lot of fun learning activities for kids. They learned about fire safety and evacuation plans, watched demonstrations, and toured equipment. After leaving Owen decided he wants to be a Fireman now. Cameron was a bit scared by the fire, smoke, and wind from helicopter.
Cameron braved his turn.
"When I grow up...."
They even got a chance to hold a fire hose.
Cameron liked this and cheered when he knocked the cone down.
